Not in a Million Years

I keep hearing ads on the radio for this, either on US radio, or on Canadian radio at work...either way, apparently somewhere the McRib is back BUT only for a limited time.

Who eats this?

Is anyone else scared by the McRib? Why does it look like there are bones in it? Edible bones? Needless to say I will not be participating in this limited time event - I've gotten through this pregnancy vomit free and I don't plan to change that anytime soon!

In my humble opinion you've got it wrong this time...I mean, I agree that is not the most flattering picture of the McRib, but I actually really like them. And they do not look like that. I don't recall any fake bones in mine. I agree they are not the most healthy thing to put into one's body, but I have had a few and they are pretty good. I remember seeing this for the first time on tv many years ago and I thought it looked repulsive, too. Then I tried it and changed my mind. Mind you, it did not leave my stomach feeling real great, but the same could be said for anything from Mickey D's. Don't knock it until you have tried it! lol

so it does or doesn't have the fake (or real) bones in it? That is what throws me...

Haha- ok...so my mom and I have a joke between us that when we see any new and disgusting fast food being advertised, we always say, "umm...looks almost as good as the McRib!". I cannot agree with you more. This thing (fake pressed meat ribs) should not be ingested.

This is funny. I have vowed never to eat anything but ground beef at fast food joints. No offense, but I don't think that seafood or ribs should be cooked at any fast food restaurant.

Too funny, so yes, I was a McDonalds girl once upon a time and yes I did work there during another wonderful limited time mcrib time, first making the things are just about as bad as what they look like. If I remember right you microwave the fake pressed meat, and then assembling the sandwich was so messy you left smothered in Mcrib sauce, that in combo with the grease film you can't stay away from working at McD's was enough to make you sick, ugh. But, people did love em, I never tried one, but we did sell a ton. So I guess there must be something to them to get passed the look of em
